American Legion Award
The American Legion presented the International Society for Six Sigma Certification with a Certificate in Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in the Employment of Veterans in 2010. The certificate was presented in November 19, 2010.
The International Society for Six Sigma Certification and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center have joined forces to improve services for Veterans.
Cincinnati, Cleveland, November 4, 2010: The International Society for Six Sigma Certifications (ISSSC) and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center (LSCVAMC) have entered into an agreement for a Systems Redesign at the Medical Center’s Wade Park Campus. This contract was undertaken to improve customer service and reduce administrative costs in order to better serve the Veteran community. The Systems Redesign will involve cost reductions and process improvements in operating rooms, patient flow, quality of care and other areas as part of the systems redesign effort.
